About Reach1ne

Reach1ne is a 501(c)(3) charity committed to helping the community created by our church, Empact Ministry, on December 8, 2002. Empact means empowerment in action, it means not only giving someone fish and teaching them how to fish, but also empowering them with a sense of possibility so that they may find a whole new way of to catch fish that you’ve never thought of.

Reach1ne provides support and resources to meet the needs of youth, adults, and families to strengthen the community as a whole by serving as a source of life enrichment, enhancement and empowerment. Reach1ne, has provided food and supplies with the last two major hurricanes. In addition, during the COVID pandemic, we have partnered with a local community program as a Food Distribution Center, serving approximately 200-300 people each week with healthy foods, vegetables, and other miscellaneous items such as vitamins and pet supplies. We also partnered with Duplin County Health Department to serve as a COVID vaccine testing site. Reach1ne continues to strive to support the physical, emotional and overall well-being of its community members by implementing programs and/or services to meet these needs.
